Late fees are not intended as a source of additional revenue. They exist solely as a means of encouraging tenants to keep their accounts current and to ensure the fair and consistent operation of the facility for all.
Tenants are required to maintain a valid credit or debit card on file throughout the entire term of the lease. It is your responsibility to keep payment information accurate and up to date at all times.
Per Florida law (Fla. Stat. § 83.808), tenants have a five (5) business day grace period from the payment due date to update payment information. This grace period is subject to change in alignment with Florida law.
Late fees are set to the maximum allowable amount under Florida law (Fla. Stat. § 83.808):
$20 or 20% of monthly rent
(whichever is greater) — charged every 5 business days late

After five (5) business days of non-payment, the owner reserves the right to lock out access to the storage space and impound any property stored on the premises. Tenant will be responsible for all costs associated with impoundment and release of property.
The owner does not provide any financial assistance or deferred payment options. Tenants are required to abide by the payment terms of the lease regardless of personal circumstances.
